I always try to get back to TX in the middle of winter to thaw out, so this year was perfect timing. We missed sub zero temps and a big snow here in Milwaukee, although landed back home in quite a storm. As you can tell from the pics, the weather in Houston was amazing while we were there. I so did not want to leave! We spent as much time outside as possible, clearly. Sofia had a great time playing with Gimmie, Gippie, Uncle Matty, her great grandma GG, and LOTS of friends. Mike came for the first part of the trip and we all cheered on his best friend at the marathon. What an event! So inspiring... well, I still don't want to do it, but watching all those people do it was incredible.
Mike came back home on Monday and Sofia and I stayed a few extra days since I won't be able to fly soon and after baby comes, it will definitely be another few months before we make another trip back. Sad :( But, this trip was one of my favorites. Very relaxing and fun.
On a baby note, I'm now in the third trimester. That is crazy to me - time is FLYING! Feeling really good now and I hope to stay feeling that way :) This baby is super active (as Sofia was in the belly... and still is!) and feeling him/her move around never gets old.
