We also had to take Sofia to an allergist to check out why she's getting hives all of a sudden. He said it could either be tied to the impetigo she just got over or something just allergy related in the environment. Poor girl has always had pretty sensitive skin but we thought we were done with it once her eczema mostly cleared. But, luckily it doesn't seem to be anything serious and we'll go see him again in six months for testing if we're still having issues.

ENT
Last week was the week of doctor's appointments. I know I've written a lot about how often the kids have been sick and it's true. It's always something, but luckily never anything major. But, on our last round of ear infections our doctor finally gave the go ahead to go see an ENT. I was relieved and nervous but mostly relieved to finally be doing this. Sure enough, both kids are candidates for getting tubes and adenoid removal. Apparently the adenoid removal will aid in strengthening their immune systems so hopefully that means less upper respiratory junk too! So, we go in next Friday the 11th for both kids surgeries. Sounds like the recovery is pretty quick and simple so it was a no brainer for us. Of course slightly nerve wracking but all in all everyone will be happier with these results!
